The official website of the Dr. Stone anime has onboarded two new cast members, revealed the theme song, and has released a promotional video for its upcoming sequel that is scheduled to air on 10 July at 10 pm. It will broadcast on Tokyo Max, KBS Kyoto, BS11, Sun TV, and TV Aichi and other platforms.
The promotional video sets a stage for more action with Stanley and Senku on hunt for Xeno. The events seem to take place in a new destination – South America and looks intensified with an engaging bike chase between the two lead characters from the show – Senku and Stanley.
However, the trailer hints towards a final battle showdown at the Mysterious Stone Sanctuary and witnesses Senku deliver an iconic catchphrase.
The official social media handle of Dr.Stone released the promotional video revealing the ending and opening themes for the upcoming part.
It also revealed the staff and cast members that have onboarded. The ensemble cast members are Kenji Nojima as Dr. Xeno, Koji Yusa as Stanley Snyder, Mariko Higashiuchi as Maya, Akira Sekine as Luna, Chiharu Sawashiro as Carlos, Taishi Murata as Max, Hiroki Yasumoto as Brody and Minami Hinata as Charlotte.
The upcoming sequel introduces Megumi Han and Reigo Yamaguchi to the cast, with Kana-Boon performing the opening theme “Supernova” and Otoha delivering the ending theme “no man’s world”.
The first part of Dr. Stone: Science Future premiered with 12 episodes, available on Crunchyroll with multiple subtitle and dub options. It first aired in 2019, Stone Wars in 2021, and the Ryusui special in 2022. In 2023, fans got the first four of Dr. Stone new World.
